Tough one for sure..
My ideal week starts with getting to work on time and restarting what I finished mid day Friday from the previous week. I don’t like to start new things in the afternoon on a Friday, you often get stuck. When I finish the work day, obviously go home. On Mondays, I don’t let myself play games, I try to do something that can improve my life, in a small or large way, not kidding at all, just do something prosperous.
I lift weights, and I finish the day with a recovery run of about 30 minutes, at a very slow relaxed pace.
Tuesday
The real hard work for the week begins. I at work I am trying to make the most headway between Tuesday and Thursday. When I make it home, it’s an actual true off day from exercise, but I will cook food for dinner. I am trying to spend less money these days buying restaurant food.
Wednesday
Another run and lift day. Also, the work day again is pretty rigorous. This day eats up most of my time because I also cook, so gaming isn’t usually possible, unless I’m tired. Run ~3.57mi with hill sprints in the middle.
Thursday
Running day again, but no lifting. Gaming is possible, but ideally, it would be nice to hang out with friends or family and have some beers. Running day of progression runs. Start at slow pace, end at expected race pace. 10:30min/mi.
Friday
Work a little less hard on this day, don’t try to start new work that will get me stuck working until late on a Friday. You’ll never enjoy your weekend. Get home, order Quickly Musubi and waffles, refuel before my Saturday long run.
I lift weights on Friday to end the week, but it’s usually lower intensity to reduce fatigue for my Saturday morning run. I play games, relax, ice my knees and feet and watch TV shows, mostly Dexter right now.
Take a THC gummy to help me relax even more, but also sleep a lot better before that important run.
Saturday
Get up, eat a bit more spam musubi, the waffle with honey and half a banana. Take my vitamins, some salt pills and drink enough water with LMNT in it to provide me with all the water I need for the run.
Stretch, let my food settle. Lace em up, put on the right shirt and shoes, and my water pack and hit the road for 10+ miles. I get to enjoy the city for a little under 2hours every Saturday morning.
It be nice to kick it wit family and friends, mostly just family these days, have some beers.
Sunday
Relax, rest from the long run, ice, get back on my keto diet watch shows, play games, but also do a little studying for my Project management Cert. Rinse repeat.
