Express my feelings
Positively, I have been able to focus on how I currently feel, and how certain events make me feel.
I am learning how similar a lot of the things that I feel is similar to what others may also feel. Sharing that provides myself and them with peace of mind.
It allows me to tap into another part of my mind that expresses my creativity. I’ve always been a good writer, I just never gave myself the time to develop that skill.
It’s difficult to develop, but also to develop and have it all coherently work together. The same can be said for writing out my own story, having that stream out but also be coherent to the reader is difficult.
It isn’t so difficult that I would quit, which is important to the process.
Negatively, I would say it allows me to focus on the things I care about most.
I have always felt you have to accept the negative with the positive, nothing is perfect.
Explore my Creative Side
Recently, my brother and I have started the early developments of a TV script and a movie. I have been studying Save the Cat in order to understand how to write a spec script and write it in a way that its palatable.
Understanding the “show me don’t tell me” has be inspirational. It takes a scene from market street pit stop evening, to the sun is dips behind the city skyline.
Sharing My Story with Others who Feel Alone
This is a big one. A lot of us feel alone in this world, even when so many are physically around us.
That feeling of no one understands me, or no one gets it, it’s tough. It makes you feel even more secluded.
The more we all share, the more you begin to realize that the uniqueness of all of our difficult lives, difficult upbringing, or events that happened to us in our lifetimes.
Everyone goes through things they wish they never had to, but don’t forget, the things that effectively make you who you are, were necessary for you to become who you are.
We all have the strength to overcome, but sometimes, similar to the analogy of a elephant tied to a rope, we don’t know our own strength.
Life is constantly filled with obstacles, and looking back, I would have it no other way. Things sometimes felt overwhelmingly difficult, inescapable and sometimes deadly, but I made it.
Some people often look back and say, but I almost didn’t, yeah but you did. This is the most important moral of the story.
If life, or anything was easy, then nothing would make a other remarkable. We all have our obstacles, even the people who seem to have life figured out.
I even myself struggle from time to time, but I know if I give myself enough time to think, and plan, I will always find a useful solution.
Pain builds character, struggle builds strength, and those who decide to never give up, always succeed.
Sometimes, not as quickly as others around you, but at the end of the day, does it matter? My success pushed me past the success of others I seen around me, even though they found it much earlier.
Take your lumps, keep moving forward, don’t quit, and do things to the best of your ability, you will find success, and you will find happiness.
